On the Jellicoe Road

The description of this book sounded so good. That's about all I can say for this book. I get it, it's a young adult book so its not going to be gold standard..but this book won awards. Hunger Games was 110% better than this. I didn't care about the characters. There are a lot of characters And the story is so fragmented that its confusing for a while. No matter what, I would have read this because of the great description that made this sound like a solid thriller..but I wouldn't recommend this. I think teenagers might like it? But there is so much nonsense in these chapters that have no bearing on the real story that it felt like a waste of time. I'm glad it didn't take me long to read.
