The Valley of the Horses

A great follow up to The Clan of the Cave Bear. It's not as good as the first one, but its still a stand alone accomplishment. This follows Ayla after being shunned from the Clan of the Cave Bear. It follows her story of survival, her friendship with animals in nature, and her search for the "Others".

After how Clan of the Cave Bear ended, I couldn't wait to see what would happen to my favorite heroine. And Auel doesn't disappoint.
