I'm not going to give a synopsis because I think most people have either read this (in high school unlike me), know the references (i.e. Big Brother) or watched the movie. This was a really well written - and disturbing - novel about a world gone crazy. This is a world with no privacy and no room for an original thought. Where children have their parents killed when they talk against the government.Honestly, I was ready for the book to end even though parts of it were brilliantly written. I recommend this to any wannabe conspiracy theorist.
