Fun! This is a collection of classic fairy tales made into twisted or more "honest" or modern stories. And one short story leads to the next (for instance, a small character in one story becomes the lead in the next). This was a creative idea that included some surprising new endings to stories like Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel, etc. They are all narrated by the lead female characters in the stories.
A great book for women who just want to read something light. So far, I've read three Donohue books and I've enjoyed them all.
