Not bad, not great, but an entertaining sequel! Another adventure for Sookie Stackhouse. This time in Texas, which never disappoints. At this point she gets so beat up I wonder why she stays with the vampire causing her all this craziness. I keep telling myself I'll stop reading these, but now I want to know where this is going.
I'm still waiting on the author to go into how our current reality went to the society she created. it's really a world that was changed only two years before the narrator starts her story. And how did the main vampire become a vampire? I hoping these will be answered soon! She has a lot of mythical creatures in the book..so I'm glad it's not just a vampire series. I must admit that I'm getting hooked.
