Much better than the last one, I enjoyed it. More was explained about the different "societies" existing in these stories, which was overdue and a relief. Nothing amazing, not a masterpiece. It finally seems like Sookie is getting to her senses, especially after this particular adventure. I'll get back to reading Sookie Stackhouse novels again, but for now I'll give it a break.
