One thing about Irvine Welsh that I haven't mentioned before: he makes Scotland seem like a very scary place. It sounds like worse than any ghetto in Brooklyn or Comptom. It seems like the gangs are worse, the drug and alchohol use is WAY worse, and people just screw each other all the time.
This was another disgusting book that I enjoyed. It's full of short stories..some very good..some making no sense. The last one was particularly crass and brutal. I hated all the characters but I can't deny it...I enjoyed it.
